Amy F58 days agoIndoor Air Quality is, pardon the pun, a breath of fresh air. Our ac unit broke during the hottest July in CO. Needed replacement, along with the furnace, due to age. First thing Pat says, “it’s hot in here, let me go outside and see if I can fix your ac so you’re at least comfortable in the meantime.” Appointment was thorough, informative and straight to the point. Good equipment, fair price, trustworthy people. Quote emailed same day. Added bonus, no two day install like other companies. They bring 5-6 guys and are done in half a day. It’s been two weeks with our new HVAC system and we absolutely love it! Not a single problem because it was installed by experienced professionals. 5 stars! R Lovell74 days agoEdit three years later: I signed up for a different service provider that covered plumbing, hvac, etc and that membership came a few things, including an ac inspection. Long story short, I was reminded why I’m so thankful to have IAQ’s number. I called Joe to come out to my house again and thankfully Indoor Air Quality had way more information, care, and clarity in pricing and how it all works than the other service. And Indoor Air Quality works with Xcel for their rebate program! I’m so grateful we found Indoor Air Quality. They are easily the best and most trustworthy HVAC company in Denver. The way they operate feels like a hometown local business. I had another company come out and work on my furnace who quoted a really high price to install a new mini split unit and charged me every time a tech came by my house. So I called Indoor Air Quality for a quote and not only was their price way more reasonable, Joe took the time to tell me what was wrong and why, and what they would recommend I do on my own and what to check on for the other unit that didn’t need work. I ended up calling them again six months later to check out my furnace and again, Joe told me much more about the problem than the first company and gave me recommendations on what would work best for my house.Posted on Google

Years ago we had a tricky problem with our air conditioner. They came back a few times, until the problem was solved. Several months later I realized that they had never billed me ( they were waiting until the problem was corrected). I called them and they told me not to worry about it! They were actually so quiet I forgot they were here. Pat and Joe made a couple of suggestions to help our system circulate more efficiently and it is working great. karl keller181 days agoI had one of the bigger outfits called Rock Heating and Air come out and they told me it would cost $2,400 to repair my furnace. I was not comfortable with their diagnosis so I found Indoor Air Quality, Inc thru a friend. I wanted an experienced small outfit to come out and diagnose the same problem Rock wanted to charge me $2,400 and waste an hour of my time. Pat came out turned on the furnace in our loft. 2 minutes after looking at the unit he said he would have it running in 10 minutes. Baffled I said what needs to be fixed? He said the igniter. Pat went to his truck got a new igniter installed, fired up the unit and sure enough it was pushing heat thru the vents. Pat gained a friend for life as we own multiple properties that will eventually need new HVAC equipment. Needless to say the cost of repair and replace was a pittance compared to Rock Heating and Air. Thanks Pat I will spread the word when someone needs your services! KarlPosted on Google

He sent over a few options for the installation and after I decided on one I was put on the schedule in less than a week. They had the work completed in less than a day. Geoff L239 days agoPat and his team at IAQ are fantastic. Our 20 year old furnace was failing to light intermittently during a cold snap. He was able to come out same day and diagnosed it as a dirty flame sensor, which he cleaned quickly while we chatted. Our furnace was 20 years old and the air conditioner was 32 years old - still functioning, but definitely in end-of-life territory. Pat was not actively selling me on a replacement, just letting me know what the new technologies in heat pumps were like. He also mentioned that the federal, state, and utility incentives would be reduced or eliminated starting in 2026. I had in the back of my mind that replacing the system would be coming sooner or later, and with Pat's guidance I was able to do a full heat pump replacement with furnace backup with 40% of the cost covered by government and utility incentives. I would have completely missed this opportunity had Pat not taken the time to educate me. I ran his quote through a couple of AI tools and confirmed the brand and size he was recommending were good for our house, and for the Denver market the AI tools confirmed the price before incentives was highly competitive. IAQ's reviews were great, so for the first time ever I didn't even bother to get competing bids. I just felt like Pat was a person I could trust and everything he was telling me lined up with the reading I did later that day. On the day of install, Pat showed up with three trucks and five or six guys. They knocked out the replacement of the entire HVAC system in about 4 hours, walked me through using it, and were careful inside and outside the house. The system works great, I got it at a great price, and I now have an HVAC company I can trust whenever I need their help. I whole heartedly recommend Pat and IAQ for their promptness, professionalism, quality of work, pricing, and friendliness.Posted on Google

I reached out after hours and had a callback within an hour, with an appointment scheduled for the next day. Joe arrived within the estimated service window. He answered my questions, installed my thermostat, and did what was probably routine maintenance on my furnace. He also helped check all of the vents, gave me pointers for getting better airflow, and stayed long enough to ensure that the system was working properly. Half the time these guys come to my house, they tell me that there's no actual problem mechanically, and explain to me how to fix it and prevent it from happening again. Since this was going to be significant cost I decided to get several estimates for the work. After doing a Google search I selected several companies to contact for estimates. One of the companies I selected was Indoor Air Quality. Joe from IAQ came out and inspected my current HVAC system. Joe was very knowledgeable and he comes across as a very honest person. I felt confident with his recommendations. Also, the price quotes that Joe provided were very competitive. IAQ installed a new HVAC/AC/Heat Pump. Joe and his team did a great job. IAQ replaced our furnace and our AC unit and did it in a timely manner and didn’t gouge us like a few others tried to do. The installer even got us a $200.00 rebate on our energy bill. NexGen Admin2016 days agoThe prior owner of this house left a letter and strongly recommended IAQ and Joe specifically. Let’s just say I am very happy that I called them. I was trying to see if I could get a damper installed to create a second zone for the basement to regulate the temperature better. While Joe broke my heart with the truth about what it would take to do that work, he gave me a couple of simple things to try and they worked. He didn’t charge for the visit. I tried to give him something for his trip and time and he wouldn’t take it. His statement to me “I have been in business for this long because of something simple and that’s treating people like I want to be treated.” I would recommend IAQ and they are my HVAC vendor of choice. Joe will be back out in the May/a June timeframe to either service or replace the AC unit. I highly recommend them!Posted on Google
Mark P2048 days agoHad water damage due to a frozen pipe from the upstairs unit and it flooded our furnace. Called Pat and he was able to come out same day, inspect and repair the furnace. He also quoted a replacement furnace due to the amount of water damage and the price was very reasonable. Very happy with the service provided. Will absolutely recommend and use these guys again. They were here the next day at 10:30 AM and fixed the issue within 15 minutes! No upsell or money making recommendation. Joe and Pat go out of their way to accommodate their customers, and I have used them for both my rental house and primary residence and would recommend them to anyone. He took the time to explain why our equipment might not have been performing at peak performance for its age. Even more, around the same time, my mom’s AC stopped working and a different company was telling her she needed to buy a new AC to the tune of $3k. I told her to call IAQ for a second opinion. Paul Flotten2875 days agoJoe serviced my Rinnai Tankless Water Heater. The unit was turning itself off after a few minutes - this supposed to be continuous and was for a few years after originally being installed. The problem was the altitude switch was never set properly - the result of the improper setting was the burn was incomplete causing, over time, deposits of soot making things all the worse. A straight forward cleaning of the heat passages was not enough. With effort and expertise, Joe cleaned up ALL the impacted components. Fantastic! It works like it is supposed to again and I am confident it will continue to do so. Thank You Joe and IAQ. The charge for servicing was more than reasonable. Mike Cortes3403 days agoJoe saved the day. We had another HVAC company install our new A/C unit only it didn't work. After months of not getting help from the original installers I decided to call IAQ over the weekend and they returned my call first thing Monday morning. They stopped by that same day and found multiple problems with the 'new' A/C unit to include shorts, low refrigerant and TXV over feeding beyond manufacturer specs. The system is now up and running and a great price point for all those repairs!Posted on Google

He showed up when he was supposed to (that's rare these days), and then he gave us an honest opinion that service was not actually needed and didn't even charge a trip fee. He was very friendly also. Charles Sherrod3921 days agoA close friend was having trouble with his furnace running on somethimes putting out cold air. He had several HVAC companies come by. None of them could figure out the problem much less fix it. One even told our friend he needed a new furnace. We recommended IAQ. Pat Comeford went by and knew right away that the malfunction came from a pressure switch designed for low altitude. He was pleasant, professional and had the furnace working correctly in no time. We've used IAQ at our home too for installation of a split system and service on it. Every experience has been a good one and well deserving of a 5-Star rating.Posted on Google
